FACULTY: For those who chose a LivingWell plan you need to complete your LivingWell promise? It can be done one of two ways: Vitality Check (biometric screening) or the online Health Assessment (same as last year). The deadline to complete the LivingWell Promise is before May 1.

When you are in the teacher’s lounge be sure to check out this months “FOCUS ON THE FACULTY”.

This month we are focusing on front office and administration Olivia Ballou, Elizabeth Delaney, Debbie

Glaza, Amy Harris, Gena Lea, Patty Mains, Lisa Manor, Tammy Moore, Barb Ritter, Chad Simms, Carrie

Wade, and Sheila Wright.

As I often mention, copyright law forbids us to show entire movies to groups even if we are using those movies for curriculum requirements; however, we do subscribe to a license that allows us to show many movies without violating copyright law. The license pertains to certain studios. The APPROVED studios are listed below: W. Disney Pictures Touchstone Pictures Hollywood Pictures Columbia Pictures Tri-Star Pictures Metro-Goldwyn-Mayer United Artists Miramax

Warner Bros. NBC Universal Sony Pictures Lionsgate Summit Entertainment Picturehouse New Line Cinema

Fair use does allow for a small fraction of movies to be used without licensing issues; five to ten minutes is usually a safe bet.

Faculty members remember to turn in your gift fund donations to Sheila Wright. Deluxe Cleaners will still be dropping off and picking up drying cleaning this year on Tuesday’s and Friday’s.
