GYNAECOLOGICALONCOLOGY

Under the Aegis of “AOGD”
Dear Colleagues and Friends,We are pleased and honoured to invite you for the “International Gynae Cancer Congress 2017” being organized by Dharamshila Hospital And Research Centre on the 18th and 19th of February 2017 under the aegis of the Dharamshila Cancer Foundation And Research Centre and Association of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists of Delhi (AOGD). Gynaecological Cancers contribute significantly to the cancer burden and its related morbidity and mortality in India. To manage such cancers and ensure that women receive the best care in terms of survival and quality of life requires constant updation regarding the new innovation in Gynae Oncology. Being one of the premier oncology centres in India, providing specialized care in gynaecological oncology for the last twenty three years, this congress is being organized to bridge the gap between the new innovations and the practices of Gynae Oncology. The Congress offers a unique opportunity to learn about the latest clinical advances and international development in Gynaecological Oncology. It will help you use the latest evidence based information into day to day clinical practice for optimal manage-ment of these patients. There will be a special focus on interactive sessions and you will get an opportunity to interact with our International and National Faculty, enhance your knowledge and skills and to form groups for exchange of ideas and techniques in the future. There will be a live interactive operative workshop on 18th February 2017 to demon-strate Radical Surgical Procedures in gynaecological oncology. Eminent speakers from abroad and all over the country will share with us their expertise and experience to ensure that the conference will be multi-disciplinary and that gynaecologists, medical, radiation and surgical oncologists, onco pathologist and radiologists who are involved in the care of patients with gynaecological cancers are updated in the recent innova-tions in the field. This conference will provide a platform for our younger colleagues from various parts of the country to showcase their work in the form of oral and poster presentations. It will also give them an opportunity to interact with senior colleagues who are estab-lished leaders in their areas of Gynae Cancer Management. Members of the Organizing Committee extend to you a warm welcome and invite you and your friends to join us for these two days. This will give you a chance to enjoy Delhi hospitality at its best and see modern Delhi during one of the best months of the year. Looking forward to your active participation and wishing you the best for the New Year 2017.
