THE SOLUTION FOR BIRD PROTECTION IS CLEAR
Researchers estimate that hundreds of millions of birds are killed each year in North America due to collisions with glass on human-built struc-tures, making bird collisions one of the most significant causes of avian mortality globally.
With the understanding that birds are able to see light in the ultraviolet spectrum, bird-friendly glass innovator, Arnold Glas developed ORNILUX bird protection glass. The glass has a patterned, UV-reflective coating making it visible to birds while remaining vir tually transparent to the human eye.
ORNILUX bird protection glass is available as laminated glass or energy- efficient, double- or triple-glazed insulated units with an additional low-E or solar control coating that offers a bird-friendly glass without compro-mising thermal performance or light transmittance. ORNILUX insulated and laminated units are available heat-strengthened or tempered.
ORNILUX

SOL AR CONTROL AND AESTHETIC DESIGN
The A-Ser ies of fers a cho ice of h igh per formance, solar-ref lect ive and low-emissiv i t y glass products that meet or exceed energy code requirements. W i th the new A-Series product range, Arnold Glas provides a new solar control technology for archi tects and façade plan-ners who aim to opt imize solar contro l and maximize ef f ic iency and comfor t . For the f irs t t ime, four di f ferent so lar cont ro l g lass coat ings ( A40, A50, A60, A70) featuring dif ferent light transmission and per formance can be paired together to design a color compat ible facade. The A-Series ensures a balanced indoor climate – both in summer and in winter. I t saves energy on AC units or alternatively, on heating and thus makes a contr ibut ion to protect ing the environment.
