uncompressed in ImageJ

JPEG / JFIF: Lossy Compression, 1:25

GIF (Graphics Interchange Format) : 8 bit Graphics, Animation,

lossless

PNG (Portable Network Graphics): RGB Graphics, Transparency,

lossless, superior to GIF, for screenshots
