BICS Connection with SAP BEx Source system Directly in SAP BW 7.1
SAP BO 4.0 IDT Design : SAP BEx ( Source System)
IDT Tool open steps : Start >> Programs >> Business Objects 4.0 >> IDT Design Tool
Follow the Steps for Creating IDT Designing by Using SAP BEx as a Source System.
maintain the description for New Local project Name and Project Location
Step 2: After Creating Local Project, We have to make Connection Between Source System and IDT By Using RDBMS/ OLAP .

Here We are selecting Source System. ( SAP BICS Client)

After Selecting Source System, We have give the All the SAP BW Server Details, If is first time. Otherwise We can use Existing Connection
( * Test Connection, Where server is Responding or Not)

Right click on Selected server from Repository Resource then maintain the credential

Right click on selected folder then if it is SAP BW (OLAP ) Data Base in back end then go with the Insert OLAP Connection. if it is
Non SAP
Data Base I mean Oracle, Microsoft, MS SQL ... please go with Insert Relational Connection ..........Here I am selecting Insert
