CBRNe remains high on the list of DoD and DHS priorities. Looming terrorthreats and the potential consequences of a CBRNe attack threat make itan issue that has entrenched itself as a part of the current operatingenvironment. This environment calls for the DoD and DHS, as well as stateand local law enforcement, to be kept up to date on the latest prevention, detection and reactionary measures. Whether it’s a threat to us or ourassets, here or abroad, it’s critical that we stay one step ahead of thosewho want to do us harm.
The 7th Annual CBRNe Defense Conference will bring togethergovernment, military and industry leaders who have the unenviable task ofpreparing for and preventing attacks. They’re coming to discuss the latest indetection technologies, reactive measures and the importance of inter-agency cooperation at the federal, state and local levels.
IDGA’s CBRNe Defense will deliver the insights and contacts youneed to support your CBRNe mission.
Register now to learn what your peers are doing in terms of response, preparedness, incident management, threat reduction and medicalcountermeasures. Biosurveillance has been primarily based on PCR detection, intelligence gatheringand analysis. With the increasing potential for terrorist engineered threats, and thecomputational means to detect both natural and synthetic threats, this initiativerequires experts in related capabilities, both biological and computational. Theseexperts must consider existing and proposed methods for computationalbiosurveillance in order to accomplish their goals.
What will be covered: • Current initiatives aimed at providing an integrated view of the state of the art,
identify technical challenges and develop a vision for the future ofcomputational biosurveillance.
• Data intensive computing for analysis of multiple real-time data streams, genomic and transcriptomic analysis of environmental samples, social networkanalysis, sensor network integration, spatial analysis and visualization, agent-based simulation.
How you will benefit: • Understand how computational data is transcribed for use in the field • Gain an understanding of computational and biological methods used for bio
surveillance

This session will provide anunderstanding of the past, present and future direction of explosives and detection programs.
What will be covered:• The evolution of explosives • Trace and bulk explosive detection
• Effective explosive detection programs
How you will benefit:• Gain insight into the evolved size, scope and detection of explosives • Listen to the development of new and novel technologies and methods as
applied to counter-terrorism • Get an understanding of various detection programs and how they vary
according to the mission
