EPACS
GREEN CHEMISTRY THROUGH BIONOMICS Bionomics integrate natural life processes to obtain innovative, sustainable, environmentally friendly solutions, applied to bio-economic systems.
EPACs IBEX Bionomics has developed a group of products we term Enhanced Proficiency Activators for Pesticides or EPACs.
These are commercially viable, 100% organic products with the potential to revolutionize the agrochemical industry by greatly reducing the amounts of pesticides used, while maintaining or improving efficacy.
EPACs are being successfully marketed in various test markets in South America.
Our goal is to develop economically viable products that support more sustainable agricultural practices to significantly increase environmental and economic benefits for all.
EPACS
EPACs are innovative organic optimizers developed and patented by IBEX
100% organic and obtained from natural metabolites
Greatly optimize the mode of action of synthetic pesticides, which include herbicides, insecticides and germicides (fungicides and bactericides)
EPACs reduce the amounts of synthetic pesticides used by 50% to 75% and their harmful effects, while offering the industry a better value proposition, economically and environmentally
EPACs maintain or increase the efficacy levels of pesticides while significantly reducing their negative impact
EPACs provide a significant cost reduction for pesticide manufacturers and crop growers, ultimately reducing food costs to the consumer
EPAC APPLICATIONSIndependent laboratory and field tests with 15 of the most commonly used pesticides have shown the following reductions of the active ingredient while maintaining or increasing efficacy:
Full Test Results are Available
Similar results are expected for 25 other molecules that are being tested over the next 18 months.

EPACs chosen as one of the five finalists for 2015 in the American Chemical Society, Green Chemistry Institutes international competition.
The products and business plan will be presented at the ACS Green Chemistry Congress in Bethesda, Maryland on July 15, 2015.

For over 50 years agriculture has relied on the liberal application of pesticides for crop protection, creating significant environmental and health-related problems worldwide:
Agriculture: Resistance to pesticides by weeds and plagues have led to overuse and/or the continued development of stronger pesticides with increasing levels of toxicity
Soil & Water: About 75% of soil and water quality problems originate from pesticide and other agro-chemical uses
Biodiversity: Overuse of pesticides has gravely increased the threat of biodiversity collapse, impacting beneficial species of insects, fishes, birds, microorganisms and others
Human Health: Many studies link direct and indirect exposure to pesticides to higher risks of cancer, autoimmune diseases, endocrine disorders, autism, and others
EPACs will greatly contribute to the remediation of this situation and to the implementation of more sustainable industry norms for agriculture and other environmentally affected areas.

The worldwide agro-chemical market of about US$300 billion underpinned by high growth rates. Pesticides make up 40% of this market, or US$120 billion, and annual growth rate of 10%+. EPACs create a new global market space with potential annual sales of US$20 billion.
No known competition for EPACs Pesticide exposure is increasingly linked to serious illnesses and adverse health conditions Growing broad market demand for environmentally safer solutions and products Government regulations on pesticide concentrations becoming stricter on a global basis Demand for viable solutions that increase the supply and decrease the cost of world food
production. EPACs meet these criteria

EPACs are made up of secondary metabolites compatible with the hosts organic molecules, thus recognized by the host as nutrients and facilitating absorption
The EPACs organic composition optimizes the pesticides effect, reducing the amount of pesticide required by 50%, to as much as 75%
Substantial reduction of the active ingredient goes hand in hand with reduced environmental contamination and pesticide residuality
EPACs increase biological oxidation and reduce chemical oxidation of the pesticide, promoting more effective absorption by the host and faster degradation of residue by microorganisms in the environment
Greatly reduce pesticide run-off resulting from low absorption and high residuality as a consequence of chemical oxidation or host rejection
Products containing EPAC can be classified under Clean Development Mechanism (CDM) category by reducing the amount of pesticides that evaporate into the atmosphere
