The impact that ICT has on every part of our economy and its influence on our
day to day activities is celebrated by the iAwards each year.
The iAwards program's goal is to provide business, industry and government
with a clear view of the people leading ICT in Australia and the quality of
innovation being produced.
National company winners go on to compete with the best in the Asia Pacific
region making the iAwards the only truly international awards program delivered
to the national ICT community.

The basics – quick reference
iAwards Nomination Process
Major Partner Host Partners
1. The iAwards are open to companies and organisations registered and operating in Australia (ABN required);
2. The entrant/nominee must own the IP of the solution which they are nominating for the award.
3. At least 51% of product development efforts including research, development and design must have taken
place in Australia;
4. The State/Territory of the entrant/nomination is where the majority of the product/project was undertaken.
If a national organisation is entering jointly with a client outside their head office then the client project
location would be the appropriate State/Territory to submit under. If your organisation is entering in more
than one State/Territory you may need to register each State/Territory office and submit the relevant
product/project/soluton in the appropriate State/Territory.
5. Any innovation which has won a National iAward or Merit in the previous three years is ineligible to enter
the award, with or without product enhancement. The exception are Winners/Merit of the R&D category may
enter within the 3 year restriction if their product/solution is now commercialised and fits the criteria of another
relevant category.

Judging Process: Group Categories

Written Entry. Be clear, concise and answer the questions.
Stick to word limit. Simple yet hard to do so edit wisely.
Criteria Ensure you demonstrate each of the specific
criteria in your responses as this is what the judges have to
score against.
Reference material. These can consist of anything from
product brochures, referee statements, a video about your
product or any other material that supports your nomination.
Photos. Include photos that illustrate your solution in action
not just screen grabs or use case scenario diagrams.
Highlight your innovation as this is after all what the
iAwards is looking to showcase so don’t bury it in a
marketing spiel.
