What is Healthy Way LA?
Healthy Way LA (HWLA) is a NO COST health program run by L.A. County that provides health care coverage to low-
income adult citizens and legal residents within a network of over 200 health care
facilities (medical homes) at DHS and non-profit clinics. All HWLA members will
transition to Medi-Cal in 2014.

How will applicants know they are eligible?
DHS sends a welcome letter and membership packet that includes contact information for HWLA member services, a member handbook, a provider directory and a HWLA member ID card.
What Happens to HWLA on January 1, 2014?
DHS has enrolled 66% of Total HWLA Eligible!
