When you first registered to Twitter, one of the basic requirements
was an email.
Twitter makes use of your emailto update you on your
account changes.
For example, whenever someonemessages you or in recovering your account,
you’ll get an email notification.
Only one email per Twitter accountis allowed. But if you’d like to change
the email which your current accountis linked to, follow these steps:
Ready your newemail address.
Log in towww.twitter.com
Click on your usernameon the upper right cornerof your
homepage
And go toAccount Settings
Under that tab, you'll see this field
Type your new email addressinto the email address
field to replace the old one.
After entering yournew email address in thecorrect field, click Save
Then you are required to enteryour current password as
displayed by a dialog box.Hit Save Changes.
After saving, a yellow boxwill appear below the email field
stating to confirm your email change.
It won’t be removedunless you confirm
your email.
Confirming your email:
Sign in to your emailaccount. The new email you
used not the one you replaced.
Open the new message you receivedfrom Twitter. The message
is about confirming your email.
Simply click the confirmation link.
Lastly, you wouldthen be directed to your
Twitter account.
