Heat Roadmap Europe
• An elaborated vision for the future heat supply to European district heating systems (inspired by the Heat Plan Denmark project
• Part of the overall future concept based on fourth generation of district heating systems
• Many EU and other future projections concerning the energy system do not consider the possibilities with district heating systems
• Do they model district heating properly?

Heat Roadmap scenario:• Gathering info about local conditions in the
NUTS2 or NUTS3 regions as possibilities for excess heat recovery
• Estimating heat demands in the same regions
• Identifying 10 hot spots where the excess heat recovery possibilities are high compared to the heat demands
