A new healthy takeaway company called ‘Eat green’ has just been set up in the local area and they have asked you to create a logo and food packaging, ready for their opening. Your logo and packaging must be bright and colourful to encourage people to want to try out the new takeaway service. They must also reflect the healthy nature of the food on offer.

Task 1: You will need to design a logo for the new company ‘Eat Green’. It should be simple and eye
catching. It should be easy to recognise from a distance
Task 1
Create six different logo designs for the ‘Eat green’ takeaway service. Your logo must reflect the healthynature of the company and be bright and colourful to attract the attention of potential customers.Your logo must be visually pleasing and contain the name of the company, ‘Eat green’. Use colouring pencilsto add colour to your designs.
Print out the worksheet on the next slide OR draw 6 ideas onto A4 plain/lined paper OR cate 6 ideas using a computer/digital device

‘Eat Green’
Task 2
Using the worksheet provided, choose the best logo that you created in Task 1 and copy it into the ‘Company logo’ box on the ‘Takeaway cup design’ worksheet. Then come up with a bright, colourful and eye catching design on the takeaway cup template.Use colouring pencils to add colour to your design and make sure that you fill out both the front and back of the cup.

Extension task
If you finish tasks 1 – 3 to a really high standard, use a sheet of A4 paper to create a poster that promotes the new ‘ Eat Green’ Takeaway and when it opens.
Make it colourful and eye catching to encourage people to want to visit and buy the food.
You must include the following information on your poster:
- The new ‘Eat Green’ Logo- A picture of your packaging- An explanation of the new healthy eating company- The opening date and time- Examples of the food available
