PROMISE SCHOLARSHIP
The Promise Scholarship recognizes academic excellence.
This award is valued at $4,750 a year and can be renewed for up to four years.
Recipients of this prestigious awards must:
Earn a composite score of 22 and subtest scores of 20 on the ACT or earn a composite score of 1100 with subtest scores of 520 in Math and 530 in Language on the SAT.
Maintain a core grade point average of 3.0
Maintain a cumulative grade point average of 3.0

The Hannan Alumni is worth $500 and the Don and Dorothy Sturgeon is worth $100.

The Holley Family Memorial Scholarship was established to honor the lives of Bobby, Janet and Bobbi Jean Holley. This scholarship, which is in the amount of $500 is given to a student who demonstrates a passion for learning and demonstrates a humble desire to help others.

The Richard Roberts “Giant Brain”Scholarship
This scholarship was established in 2019 to honor the life and memory of Richard Roberts. Richard grew up in extreme poverty and was unable to go to college due to a number of obstacles. The Giant Brain Scholarship worth $1,000 is awarded to a student who has demonstrated the strength to overcome obstacles and the tenacity to persevere.

This $300 award is presented to honor a student who demonstrates outstanding academic achievement in science as well as a desire to pursue a higher education.

As of May 20, 2021 the Hannan High School Class of 2021 has been awarded a total of $132,450.
Many scholarship deadlines were extended due to COVID. Additional scholarship money could be awarded over the summer.
