Hands of Serve is a Texas program developed in 2004.
•Program focus is the specific needs and expectations of adult learners.•Incorporates industry-based terminology into an academic curriculum.
HISTORICAL CONTEXT
• Driven by the need for an educated adult workforce
• Based on the CTTC Response to Senate Bill 280
• Answers employment demands for the community
• Provides an answer to educating Adult ELL and Adult
Technical learners

• Helps adults excel in the workforce
