VTCT Level 2 Diploma in Ladies Hairdressing (Technical ) This course is aimed at school leavers and those wishing to have a career in the Hair dressing industry. Course Duration - One year. Course Content/Units Health and Safety, Working in the hairdressing industry, Client care and communication, Consultation, Shampoo and condition the hair and scalp, The art of dressing hair, Cutting women’s hair , Colour and lighten hair. Practical work takes place in Creations Hair and Beauty Salon, a purpose built professional salon, providing a realistic working environment where treatments are performed on paying clients. Guest lecturers from product companies, trips to professional trade exhibitions and competitions complement studies.

Students will be required to carry out practical assessments ongoing throughout the course along with a final assessment for practical.
