HACHAMMOND ARTS CENTER
Hello.
Allow us to introduce ourselves. For the past two years we have offered high quality community art classes and exhibitions to our Hammond community. We have experienced first hand, the way the arts can inspire individuals as well as renew communities. No matter the class or exhibition, we seek to celebrate the arts, enjoy community, and pursue transformation. The following pages detail the various ways you and your family can join us on this journey. For more information, visit our website or give us a call. We would love the opportunity to meet you and your family at any of our upcoming classes or events. Come inspire, create, and belong.
Sincerely,
Sarah Smith & Daniel Whiteman

Exhibits
SeptemberFriday, September 13, 6:30-8:30 pm
Exhibit: “Portraits and Passageways” by Jessica Smit
Jessica’s work depicts moments of decision, passageways between what is and what will be. As we are catch a glimpse of their unfinished stories, and we wonder how the story will end, just as we do in our own moments of decision.
The visual narratives in these paintings are both personal and universal; we hope each viewer finds his or her own meaning and story in the symbolic imagery. We will also feature music by singer/songwriter Krystal Kadar.
