B.E in Electronics and Instrumentation Engineering with industrial experience about 2 year from June 2013. Now as a Project Engineer at Controlsoft Engineering India Pvt. Ltd., Perungudi, Chennai.
Area of Expertise
Implement P&ID requirements into electrical and Instrumentation design.
Perform calculations for electrical and Instrumentation equipment sizing, cable sizing, lighting,
grounding and heat tracing.
Responsible to prepare all instrumentation and F&G engineering deliverables such as design
basis, specification, data sheets, instrument index, I/O schedule, logic diagram, cable / JB
schedule, etc. Instrument Datasheets, Index, I/O list and load schedules.
Responsible to carryout sizing calculations for control valves, safety valves and flow elements,
accumulator sizing calculations, Instrument cable voltage drop & Intrinsically Safe circuit calcu-
lations.
Responsible to prepare Telecommunication Engineering deliverables such as Design Basis, Spe-
cifications for various telecommunication systems and fibre optic cables, system block diagrams,
datasheets and develop control system and telecommunication systems architecture.
Provide inputs and review detailed drawings such as 3D/2D model, electrical and produce mate-
rial take-off and material requisition. Review Bids and Technical Evaluation.
Design and checking of electrical and instrumentation schematics and wiring diagrams, area
classification, grounding, panel/cable schedules, equipment layout, cable layout, tray layout,
junction box layout, LPBS, isolator, lighting, loop diagram, segment diagrams and installation
details without supervision.
Supervise and coordinate the activity of a small group of drafters, junior/intermediate designers
and/or junior/intermediate engineers.
Review vendor drawings. Visit construction/plant sites and fabrication shops during design
phase on as required basis.
Provide construction support and perform pre-commissioning and start-up activities for electrical
systems when required.
Developing the control philosophy and logics as per the process sequence of the plant.
Having knowledge about PLC and SCADA based control programming.
Having well conversant with International codes & standards such as ISA, NEC, NFPA, BS,
API, IEC, etc.

A) Working in Controlsoft Engineering India Pvt Ltd, as a Project Engineer from June 2013 as
an instrumentation project engineer.
B) As a Contract Employee in TUFFOFFSHORE India Pvt Ltd., from the last six months for
FPSO Project.
Area of Interests
To Prepare the Instrumentation & Electrical detailed engineering and documentations for the FPSO Oil & Gas projects.
To be a qualified project engineer at designing and commissioning of the Oil & Gas and FPSOs plants.
Maintenance and troubleshooting of field instruments such as transmitters and control valves.

Assisting the senior person, to prepare Instrumentation and Electrical design basis. Preparing the detailing documents both for Instrumentation and Electrical.
Preparing and checking the various technical specfications and controlling philosophyies for
both Electrical & Instrumentation.
Planning for the F&G location layouts and designing as per the equipment layout.
Generating datasheets for the Instruments.
II. Project: BMC Calciner, Tuticorin
Preparing all the engineering documents for both electrical and instrumentation section.
Technical audit with panel and instrument vendors.
Supervising and planning all instrumentation commissioning.
III. Project: BMC Titania, Tuticorin
Preparing total engineering documents such as I/O list, instrument index, data sheets for a
various instruments, termination detailing for both MCC panel and Control panel side.
Tray routing for both instruments and electrical equipments.
Hook-up planning and providing MTO’s for the procurements.
IV. Project: NALCO Water India Limited,(MONDELEZ India Foods Ltd, Tada)
Preparing all engineering documentation for both electrical and instrumentation.
Generating Bid evolution for the instruments and panels against the requirements.
Providing technical specifications and selection of instruments based on the process.
Location planning for both instrument and electrical equipments.
