Background

Goal of the Google Car is to change the world as we know it.

The future you imagine is possible. Examples: Safer roads User friendly to more than the current driving

population (youths, intoxicated, elderly) More eco-friendly, less harmful emissions.

Technology This car is filled with technology

allowing it to differentiate between other cars, pedestrians, cyclists, and small and large stationary objects.

Doesn’t need light in order to function.

Uses a radar, lasers, front mounted camera, and a staggering amount of software at work at all time.

All together, this helps create a 3D model image of the immediate area.

Advantages To start off, Google did a

little test to show off the possibility and reliability of their product.

To the right is a blind man, who has survived a whole trip from his home to a local Taco Bell drive through and back.
