Our Alumni Association is growing and assists with numerous events and projects. At St Benedict you have a family, one that will always support you. Once a Bengal, Always a Bengal--a tradition we have been proud of for nearly 60 years.

CHALLENGECHALLENGE
Living the FaithSt. Benedict Prep is dedicated to spiritual development and is committed to helping students understand their faith and expand awareness about God’s presence in their lives. Students have many opportunities for growth in their faith: Participation at regularly scheduled Masses as well as Reconciliation Services in Advent and Lent. Student Retreats are scheduled for deeper refl ection: Freshmen Retreat centers on team- building skills, peer support, and respect Sophomore Retreat invites students to build healthy relationships Junior Retreat challenges students to become leaders in their school, community, and church. Juniors and Seniors can deepen their faith with a four day, off- campus Kairos retreat with student and faculty leaders.
St. Benedict High School Graduation Requirements
High-Tech LearningOnline courses piloted in 2011 allow students to experience a lec-ture/discussion course modeled after a college classroom. Sociology and Psychology courses taught by Ms. Samantha Harris challenged college-bound students with a rigorous curriculum involving online and classroom components. Students work independently conducting web quests and research to meet specifi c course objectives. The class then meets in a seminar setting to discuss results of their research.
Students establish meaningful goals for college and connect those goals with course planning activities.
Information about colleges and careers is combined to encourage students to take demanding courses and improve academically.
Improved communication to parents regarding important decisions around course-planning and college admissions.
