FROM THE PRINCIPAL
It’s been a great fortnight at the views. Firstly, congratulations to Sandra Hurst for winning the Hume Primary School Teacher of the Year award and the Honourable John Cain Achievement Award Winner. Sandra was chosen for her vison and innovation, demonstrating record of excellence to deliver successful outcomes in the classrooms or the community. On accepting the award Sandra pointed out that for her this was a team award belonging to all members of the Views learning community and she was honoured to be representing our wonderful school. Well Done Sandra.
Our Prep transition days have been a great success. Just a reminder to parents to remind anyone who may wish to enrol their child for Prep 2105 to do so as soon as possible.
Our special food days at the canteen have been a great success and we sold a huge number of sushi this week. Many thanks to Kerri Cliff for organizing the lunches and we look forward to a lot more surprises in the future. This week our Family Life program starts for the Grades 5 and 6. These sessions are always very success and informative.
Have a great week
Michael West
