You don’t have a debit card with your DCFSA, so you’ll file your claims on HertzCareCoordinators.com. UMR will process your 2018-2019 claims starting July 1.

FSA ChecklistWhether you have a Health Care Flexible Spending Account (HCFSA) or a Dependent Day Care Flexible Spending Account (DCFSA) or both, there are a few things you’ll need to take care of on July 1 at HertzCareCoordinators.com (see page 6), when your UMR FSA is active.

✔ Set up direct deposit. Your direct deposit with UHC will not carry over to UMR. Make sure you set up direct deposit with UMR, so they can deposit your FSA claims payments directly into your bank account.

✔ Opt out of auto-reimbursement, if you don’t want to take advantage of this feature. Auto-reimbursement means your HCFSA claim is automatically filed for you when you visit the doctor and it is automatically deducted from your FSA. As a result, you won’t need to submit a claim for reimbursement.

✔ Go green and select to receive information about your FSA(s) via email instead of mail sent to your home.

✔ Watch for your HCFSA debit card being sent to your home by early July. Your debit card is for prescription, dental, and vision claims. You pay for medical claims with either auto reimbursement or through manual claims, if you opt-out of auto reimbursement. The DCFSA doesn’t have a debit card.

All About Your HRA2017-2018 Claims Deadline is September 30, 2018

You must file any 2017-2018 medical claims you have through the end of the plan year (ending on June 30, 2018) by September 30, 2018, or your claims will not be paid by your HRA through the 2017-2018 HRA administrator. UHC will continue to process any medical claims for the 2017-2018 plan year, however your HRA balance will be transfered to UMR as of October 8, 2018. If your claims aren’t filed by the deadline, you’ll have to pay out of pocket and submit manual claims with UMR for reimbursement from your remaining HRA dollars.

Your HRA dollars for the 2018-2019 plan year, which starts on July 1, 2018, and ends on June 30, 2019, will be available in your UMR HRA on July 1, 2018. See the next page to learn how your HRA and HCFSA work together and when any rollover HRA dollars will be deposited into your account.

WONDERING HOW YOUR UMR HRA WILL WORK?It’s going to work the same way your HRA works today. When you file a medical claim, UMR will automatically deduct any deductible or coinsurance costs you’re responsible for using available funds from your HRA. You won’t have to pay for any medical expenses until you’ve used all of the funds in your HRA.4 HERTZ BENEFITS

Using Your HRA and HCFSA TogetherWhen you file a medical claim, UMR will automatically pay for any expenses with the dollars in your HRA. When those funds are used up, your HCFSA automatically pays for your expenses, just like your HRA, unless you opt out of auto reimbursement. If you opt out of auto-reimbursement, you won’t be able to use your HCFSA debit card to pay for eligible expenses. You’ll have to submit your claims to UMR.

Your 2018-2019 HRA dollars will be available on July 1, 2018. If you have leftover 2017-2018 dollars from your UHC HRA, they’ll roll over into your UMR HRA for the 2018-2019 plan year on October 8, 2018, after processing and transition is complete. Your 2018-2019 HCFSA balance is also available on July 1, 2018.

When your 2017-2018 rollover balance is deposited into your HRA on October 8, 2018, UMR will automatically pay for eligible expenses with your rollover HRA dollars and stop using your HCFSA dollars (if applicable). Once your HRA rollover dollars are used up, UMR will resume paying for eligible expenses with your HCFSA.
