FUX Warewash Systems
When HOBART received the patent for the first conveyorized dishwasher in 1953, the
foundation was laid for future innovations and developments which have made HOBART
the world-wide market leader in warewashing. The HOBART “centre of excellence” for
commercial dishwashing systems is situated in Offenburg, Germany. Nowhere else in the world
is the competition as strong, energy so expensive, or the regulations applying to hygiene
and the protection of our environment so strict. To be the market leader in this country requires
exceptional solution handling.

Highest Hygiene Standards
In todays catering environments all companies have to meet strict
hygiene standards. New guidelines place an increasing emphasis
on personal and operational hygiene.
Due to the modular construction, HOBART can provide:
customised bespoke systems. Different widths, heights,
various wash drying and turbo-blower zones that allows
an individual specification for every type of washware.
Powerful and efficient medium, and high pressure wash
pumps ensure excellent results every time.
As you would expect, HOBART guarantees robust
construction, simple operation and high operational
safety. In addition, a comprehensive energy saving
package helps the environment, and is ecologically
beneficial.
In order to guarantee hygienic results, PROTHERM
ensures that the required parameters for contact time,
washing power and final rinsing temperature of at least
82°C are met. This enables hygiene standards to be
achieved in an “environmentally friendly” way using
temperature rather than chemicals.
Outstanding Performance and Hygiene
Easy access for Service!
All operational parts can be accessed
from the front of the machine. Saving
time and money. Insulated wash tanks
and an integral auto-timer also con-
tribute to further energy saving.
Powered Loading and Unloading Sections.
Comfortable Loading Height of 920 mm.
One-button-operation.
Fully Automatic Operation.
Upward opening hinged access.
Removable strainer with drain.
Double-walled insulation for reduced
heat and noise emission.
Electronic central control. The large control box constructed
from V2A is easy to maintain, with all wiring in accordance
with VDE regulations. The function and temperature display on
the control box are mounted at an easy viewing height.
HOBART SPS control gives a single glance of
digital temperature reading, machine function
indication, stand-by, fault lights and on/off button.
Pure Washing Power:
The combination of power, washcoverage and effective
contact time are the main criteria for effective cleaning.

■ Large Air Volume
■ Low Air Temperatures with low humidity
■ Circulation of warm air at 70°C from
below, above and both sides.
Various conveyor and chain transport
systems available on demand and
according to washware requirements.
High Velocity Blower zone with
Heavy-duty compressor. The blower
blades are precisely positioned around
the wash ware. The air flow is provided
by a minimum of 8 heavy-duty
compressors which are channelled from
above, below and both sides.
Wash systems with cleaning bungs,
which can be easily removed without
tools. The non-cloggable stainless steel
jets are integrated in the wash arm.
Intended wash jets provide an increased
flow rate and avoid blockages.
Adjustable wash system provides full
wash coverage of washware.
Large inspection doors over the whole
machine length allow easy access for
cleaning. Double curtains in every zone
prevent splashing over of wash water.

Heavy duty drying zone provides very effective drying usingrecirculated air in large volumes and at high speed.
Variable conveyor speeds with
pole-changing transport motor and
frequency transformer.
High ground clearance allows
good access for cleaning under the
machine.
Machine constructed entirely
of 104301 stainless steel.
Heating options include;
– electric, steam, hot water,
or oil-heated system.
The DUO-rinse zone saves up to
30% energy, water, detergent and
rinse aid by inclusion of a pre-final
rinse section.
The wash arms are equipped
with anti-block jets, and end plugs
which can be removed without the
need of tools. Wash performance
is delivered from above, below and
the sides.
Self-cleaning filter system
– debris is flushed into the strainer
basket and is removed from the
circulation, therefore keeping the
wash water cleaner for longer.

Systems Handling:
Modern design, outstanding economy and reliability are key factors
which, when combined with knowledge and practical experience,
make HOBART the only choice. Decide for yourself when you look at
the impressive range of Conveyor Systems below.
This FUX system operates in a bakery
area. 850 racks per hour are hygienically
cleaned via this double-tracked system
with a residual moisture level of less
than 10 g per rack. Also equipped
with an efficient energy saving
package for maximum economy and
environmental care.
In this meat processing plant,
400 containers /hour are cleaned
in compliance with European hygiene
regulations. Two high velocity
blowers ensure a residual moisture
level of less than 5 g per case.
HOBART fully complies with HACCP
regulations!
Picture right side:
A fully automatic container washing
system – manufactured by HOBART. Up to
8000 containers /day are delivered through this
double-tracked system. After automatic
emptying and turning, they are washed
and dried. For maximum wash and rinse
performance (>82°C), turbo high pressure
pumps are fitted to provide high water
circulation. The blower and drying zones
guarantee a residual moisture level
of 4 g per rack. Maximum economy
and efficiency!
