1. Introduction

This measurement report is prepared by Fugro Technical Services Limited (FTS). It includes the assessment criteria, measurement methodology and results.

2. Site Description

The project site is located along Campus Circuit East in the Chinese University of Hong Kong. The building consists of 3 blocks – Wing A, Wing B and Wing C. It is under major renovation and the work is being conducted in two phases. Wing A and Wing B will be conducted in first phase and Wing C will be conducted in the second phase. The general layout plan of the project site is shown in Figure 2.1.

3. Measurement Requirement

The requirements as stipulated in A Guide on Indoor Air Quality Certification Scheme for Offices and Public Places [2019] will be used as reference in this project. The measurements were conducted by an IAQ Certificate Issuing Body (CIB) in representative locations after building completion. The Certificate of Accreditation is shown in Appendix C. The measuring parameters are listed in Table 3.1.

5. Conclusion

Measurement results show that the indoor sources of TVOC and HCHO at 14 locations meet the standard of Good Class criteria in A Guide on Indoor Air Quality Certification Scheme for Offices and Public Places [2019].
