Such is the story of TaraAlisha Berry and AnshumanJha - the leads of the webseries Mastram, based on areal-life writer in the 80s andhighlights how a wholegeneration was liberatedthrough his stories that weresold at railway station stalls, small roadside and pavementshops in North India throughthe 1980 - 90s. With thetemperature being at minusfive degrees, the actors hadto shoot a sensual scene inthe chilly mountains of Manaliand Anshuman shared anaccount of that shot saying,"Our schedule in Manali wasquite a rollercoaster ride. Itwas an adventure", he

laughs. "The scene whereTara and me get intimate wasshot on a day when it was -°C and that too by a lake.Speaking the lines normallywithout our lips shivering wasa task. So, after every shotwe would run inside ablanket. But we soonrealized after the first twotakes that it's better toremain in the huggingposture as it kept us warm, instead of running in and outof the blanket. Thank God forour friendship. Sometimes, you need to turn everypossible distraction intoaction and on this occasion, nature helped us to build inthe chemistry."'Mastram'features 10 masale daarstories of passion thatintertwines with turbulentday-to-day scenarios fromthe real life of Mastram - thequintessential writer of thisera who spoke the lingo ofthe Hindi heartland - literally!Along with Anshuman Jha &Tara Alisha Berry, the seriesalso stars an ensemble castwith Aakash Dabhade, RaniChatterjee, Jagat Rawat,Kenisha Awasthi, GarimaJain, Isha Chabbra and AabhaPaul in key roles.
