Fidelity Wealth Service
Dear Investor,
New opportunities. The perfect property. The ideal retirement. Or maybe just the
freedom to make it up as you go along.
At Fidelity Wealth, we know every investor is different. We also recognise the
challenges that come with larger, more complex portfolios and focus our Wealth
Service on customers who have over £250,000 invested with us, including ISAs
and pensions. This means your Relationship Manager can dedicate time to
understanding your specific needs.
The result is a Wealth service with a unique approach that can give you the
guidance and support you need as you seek to grow your wealth.

Head of Wealth – Personal Investing

The Wealth service has a lot to offer, but it all starts with your
personal Relationship Manager. It’s their job to be in tune with your
needs and to make sure you benefit from what we have to offer.
This means helping with everything from investment strategies and
account selection to fund performance and portfolio administration.
Just as importantly, they will be in regular contact and work with
you in the way that you want. Alternatively, if you prefer to take the
lead, they’ll simply be there whenever you have questions or need
more information.
Please note that your Relationship Manager can’t give personal
recommendations for any particular investment, so if you’d like this sort
of help, speak to a financial adviser. The value of investments can go
down as well as up and you may get back less than you invest.

We know that successful investing isn’t just
about the big decisions. That’s why we have
a dedicated support team alongside our
Relationship Managers to help you with the
day‑to‑day stuff – although they can also do the
heavy lifting if you want to make more extensive
changes to your holdings.
The support team are only ever a phone call
away and can handle everything from dealing on
your existing portfolio to opening a new account,
as well as any basic administration that needs
doing, such as changing an address or issuing a
tax certificate.
02. Ease
6

8
The biggest advantage of our service is also one of the simplest.
It gives you truly great value.
Our Wealth service fee is just 0.20% (compared with Fidelity’s
standard charge of 0.35%) and it only applies to the first £1 million
you invest with us. We then have no additional charges for any
aspect of our service, including all the benefits of Fidelity Wealth.
Benefits can be found on page 23 of this brochure.
This means the only other costs you pay are those coming from
the companies that manage your chosen investments – and we’ve
negotiated discounts (in the form of either a rebate from the fund
manager or lower annual management charges) on many of the
options in our range, to help you get even more for your money.
Call 0800 41 41 28 today to discuss how much you could save.
03. Value
9
It’s a lot easier to make confident decisions for the
future if you are well informed about what’s going on
at the moment. That’s why we bring together expertise
from across Fidelity, including our highly regarded
Investment Director Tom Stevenson and his team, to
give you timely views, insights and analysis.
These are published daily on our website, and sent out
in regular emails, so you get everything straight away.
You can read our latest articles right now at

04. Insight

11
12
If you’re looking after a large portfolio, there will be times
when you want to see the bigger picture. That’s why you’ll
receive a complimentary report each quarter that covers
all your investments with us.
As well as showing you how your funds are performing
and what changes you’ve made, it will analyse your
holdings so you can see how they fit together.
You’re welcome to discuss this report with your
Relationship Manager and we hope it will give you ideas
for your portfolio.
05. Understanding

These are only open to members of the Wealth
service and they cover everything from regular forums
where top managers discuss their funds in detail to a
yearly outlook from Fidelity’s Chief Investment Officer
for equities. You can choose to attend in person, watch
live online or catch up later on our website.

07. Access

Our Share Dealing service will give you a straightforward way to buy a
range of investments. We will be building it up gradually and as part of
our phased launch, we have already added the majority of the shares
listed on FTSE 100, FTSE 250, FTSE 350, FTSE All Share Index, FTSE AIM
100 Index and some shares listed on ISEQ20. Soon we will also offer:
■ UK government bonds (gilts) and UK corporate bonds
■ Access to European shares through CREST Depository Interests (CDIs)
■ Additional Exchange Traded Funds (ETFs) and investment trusts
As a primarily online service, we charge just £10 a trade (plus any
market charges, such as stamp duty on investment trusts). The service
fee of just 0.20% (compared with Fidelity’s standard charge of 0.35%) as
described on page 9, is charged on your entire portfolio. However, for
the assets purchased via our Share Dealing service (exchange traded
instruments including investment trusts) there is no service fee when held
in a Fidelity Investment Account. If you hold these assets in a Fidelity
ISA or SIPP, the service fee for these assets is capped at £45 a year.
We hope to launch the additional investment options to our service
soon, so please keep an eye out for more information.

We’ve used all of Fidelity’s investment expertise to make it as easy as possible for you to
choose funds. PathFinder helps you choose a multi‑asset fund based on what matters to you.
Alternatively, if you’d like a few more options, there’s our Select 50. The Select 50 is a
shortlist of our experts’ recommended funds, spread across eight easy‑to‑use categories.
Of course, you might prefer to do your own research. That’s why we offer funds from over
100 providers, plus investment trusts, exchange traded funds (ETFs) and even cash options.
Please remember that the Select 50 and PathFinder are not personal recommendations
in respect of a particular investment. If you need additional help, please speak to an
authorised financial adviser. You should regularly reassess the suitability of your investments
to ensure they continue to meet your attitude to risk and investment goals. Please note the
value of investments can go down as well as up and you may get back less than you invest.
Whatever approach you choose, we have a range of accounts for you to hold your funds in,
with ISAs and SIPPs – for adults or children – sitting alongside general investment accounts.
Call 0800 41 41 28 to discuss our range or explore the Select 50 at fidelity.co.uk/select
09. Choices

When you’re making long‑term plans, you need to be sure the
company you choose will stay with you throughout the journey –
and have the resources to support you every step of the way.
Fidelity Wealth is part of Fidelity International. We are one of
the UK’s leading investment companies and, just as importantly,
have been independent from the day we were founded,
50 years ago. This gives us the freedom to make decisions in
investors’ long‑term interests, without worrying about how they’ll
be perceived by the shorter‑term attitudes of the City.
We are also one of the few companies that runs its own
investments and offers funds from other managers. This means
we have a detailed understanding of the investment world, as
well as connections throughout the industry.
10. Stability
21
Whether you’re investing for a child’s future, managing
your tax exposure or simply keen for your spouse or
partner to make the most of their own investments, we
understand that an investment service is only doing
half a job if it applies just to your personal holdings.
That’s why Fidelity Wealth automatically extends all
its benefits, including the reduced service fee, to
everyone in your household who invests with Fidelity,
even if they don’t meet our minimum investment level.
This covers everything from your other half’s ISA to a
child’s Junior SIPP.
