later adapted into films.• Critics describe her writing as
descriptive and imaginative.
William Shakespeare• William Shakespeare is
considered one of the greatest dramatists of all time.
• Shakespeare is an English play-write, poet, and actor.
• While Shakespeare was famous for many works of literature,
some of his most popular include Hamlet and Romeo and Juliet.• Writers everywhere are still
creating adaptations of Shakespeare’s work today.
Mark Twain• Mark Twain is an American
author who has inspired and touched the lives of audiences
everywhere.• Mark Twain is the writer of what is considered to be one of the first
great American novels: Huckleberry Finn.
• Twain was born in 1835 in Florida, Missouri.
• His unique dialect is prevalent in his writing and sets him apart from
other writers of his time.
