WEBSITE REVIEW

IT MASQUERADES undermany different names, which reflects the manydifferent uses to which itcan be put.

It’s called duct tape, jesus tape, gaffer tape, hur-ricane tape or riggers tape.

The Mythbusters geekshave been testing itspowers out in recent epi-sodes and the web worldhas plenty of worshippers.

Two of those are TheDuct Tape Guys — Timand Jim.

The site is not particul-arly slick-looking, but it isan ode of love by Tim andJim to what they call ‘‘TheUltimate Power Tool’’.

It has links to preachersermons that have usedduct tape to get a biblicalpoint across.

There’s their YouTubeclips on the many uses ofduct tape (such as mincinggarlic with a hammerwhile garlic is duct-tapedto the chopping board).

Then there’s the exten-sive duct tape art gallery, including pics of an Ameri-can flag made out of 1120rolls of the stuff.

They’ve got photo essaysof the time a man was ‘‘ab-ducted’’ using duct tapeand then taken shopping.

And finally, of course, comes the practical jokeapplications, such ascarcooning (which sees acar wrapped in gladwrap, then in duct tape).

Tim and Jim have alsotaken their love of the tapebeyond the internet andwritten The Jumbo DuctTape Book.
