Export Controls – Achieving ComplianceEmbargoes, Sanctions, Licences: how to make it through the jungle
Compliance is not an option for exporters. Whether you trade chemicals across oceans or transport high-tech components on EU roads, your business will be challenged at some point by multifaceted restrictions:
• Constantly evolving international sanctions impact countries, firms and individuals across international supply chains
• Failure to respect embargoes entails a high likelihood of stiff penalties, in particular with respect to US products
• Dual-use regulations cover a broad spectrum of common goods and can vary in each and every country from which your enterprise exports
PwC would like to invite you to share the experience of our clients in the area of export controls & sanctions. Our guest speakers from SR Technics, Givaudan and Landis+Gyr will provide first-hand insights and best practices about the solutions they have designed to ensure compliance with export controls regulations. These not only address management issues, organisation and processes, but also people topics and, of course, systems. At the heart of the discussion lies the management of change going forward.
Add value to your business: learn from actual practitioners, share your thoughts and experiences, and stay up to date with current technologies.
We look forward to welcoming you to Berne.
