Show timeExpect the unexpected: No “a typical

day”

- Crunch time for event coordinators comes during events-Also on the to-do list: Checking meeting rooms for sufficient seating and audio-visual equipment, and ensuring events follow fire and labor regulations-Coordinators must evaluate whether the event met clients’ goals, often through surveys that ask for feedback on attendees’ experiences-After the show, a planner might compare the event’s costs and benefits to help clients determine whether the expense was worthwhile

Describe a typical work week for chief event officer position

Physical demands Expect the unexpected: No “a typical

day”

-Don’t expect a nine-to-five schedule.-Planners might work substantially more than 40 hours a week leading up to a major event- The pressure brings a big payoff: “The greatest joy is helping someone produce a social event that is exactly what they envisioned, and where all the elements come together seamlessly.”
