Even though all the albums of Led Zeppelin till 1975 are relevant, oneof the most is “Led Zeppelin IV” (1971). In it, the British’s exposed their
style, which was a fusion of hard rock, folk and blues. This albumincludes songs like “Black Dog”, “Rock and Roll” and the mystic“Stairway To Heaven”. At that moment the band was in their best
moment, at the top of the big leagues, however, around 1975 thingsstarted to go bad.
First, Robert Plant and his wife Maureen Wilson got in a terrible car
crash. Later, the little son of Plant, Karac, died at only six years oldbecause of a stomach infection. The singer fell into a deep depressionand the band was off the stages for a long season. After this
turbulence, Led Zeppelin backed the live performances and in 1979published “In Through The Out Door”, their last work.On September25th of 1980, John Bonham passed away after a strong drunkenness.
This fact marked the final of the band.
Despite the passing of the years, Led Zeppelin continues to be anauthentic referent of Rock and their songs are sung by the new
generations. Singularity maybe would be the best word to define this
band, but it’s much more than that. All the members of Led Zeppelinhave something special, they were ones of the best in their
instruments. Watching their concerts is such an electrifying
experience, like so much talent together was too good to be real. Iwonder how it would have been to see them live.
