Resins for Metal coatings
The Metal coating market covers a very wide range of product types, suitable for application from light use to extremes of performance. This is specific for the coating type. For primers – adhesion and corrosion protection. For topcoats –
durability, gloss and colour retention, from simple alkyds to highly durable and resistant 2-component acrylics. There is also the modern requirement for these properties at reduced VOC as specified by the different regula-tions worldwide.
Our broad technology toolbox consists of water-borne and solvent-borne resins, based on acrylics, polyurethanes, polyesters and alkyds.
Based on our strong collaboration partnership with customers and our understanding of applications,we are able to provide innovative solutions for Metal coatings markets.

Resins for industrial Wood coatings
The different types of industrial wood coatings are usually classified by technologies in function of their chemical nature or the drying/curing system.
The position of Arkema Coating Resins, as a supplier of products for all the technologies present in the industrial Wood Finishing market gives us a global view of the market challenge,
which make it possible to offer innovative solutions in a changing environment. Our main fields of research work are in Waterbased and uV curing technologies.
Different technologies are available to satisfy the market demands, although there are important geographical differences in their use in the European wood industry derived from numerous factor such as local tastes, company size, available application system, and environmental pressures or types of wooden substrates used.
