SkyBlue Services Environmental Policy

In order to minimize the impact of SkyBlue Services (SBS) upon the environment we

undertake to comply and in most cases try to exceed environmental regulations. By

protecting and enhancing the environment not just where SBS works, but through our

associated business partners we will contribute to protecting and enhancing the wider

environment.

SBS Environmental Policy:

At SBS we aim to safeguard the environment by:

• Following our waste management and recycling policies: provide effective waste

management, and encourage waste reduction

• Provide recycle bins and reduce general waste bins in our canteens

• Reducing the use of natural resources such as using non-paper based systems where

practical,

i.e.: email/web-based communications

• Reducing energy consumption such as turning off equipment, heating and lighting when

not needed

• Encourage sustainable transport used by our staff and local suppliers to reduce our carbon

footprint.

• Work with other businesses/relevant local authorities to maximise potential in all areas of

safeguarding the environment.

• Encourage water drinking for health reasons but discourage use of water that is bottled

off-site.

• Endeavour to enhance the environment which surrounds our canteens

• Effectively monitor and regularly review our activities to ensure they comply with our

environmental guidelines and comply with all relevant present and future environmental

legislation.

• Understands that in order of this policy to be effective, SBS staff must be properly trained

and motivated and partnerships with others are pursued.
