Activity 1:
Title: Seminar on “EDC Awareness” Date: 30th December 2015.
Overview:
One Day Seminar on “EDC Awareness” was organized by Department of Computer
Engineering in association with EDC for Final year students. The session was presided by
Mr. Sunil Chandak, Director and President of Udyogwardhini, Nashik.
The seminar was intended to cover:-
1. Need of Entrepreneur in society.
2. Searching Market Opportunities.
3. Availability of Government Schemes.
4. Project Formulation.

Activity 2:
Title: EDC Design Competition” Date: 10th January 2016
Overview:
With the view of creating self identity for cell an “EDC Design Competition” was organized by
Department of computer engineering in association with EDC. The objective behind organizing this
event was to motivate the students by exploring their creativity and knowledge in the form of
visuals.
Participants: This competition was open for staff and students of all departments.
Response: The count of this competition represents in the form of: 25 Designs for Logo,
5 Designs for Banner, 7 Designs for Letter Head and 9 for Certificates.
Appreciation: Winners are rewarded by prizes like Power Bank, Pen Drive and certificates.

Activity 3:
Title: Two Day Workshop on “EDC Awareness Camp” Date: 12th & 13th January 2016.
Overview:
Two Days Workshop on “EDC Awareness Camp” was organized by Department of
Computer Engineering in association with EDC for Final year students.
Day One:
The first session was addressed by Mr. Kailas Deore, Entrepreneur who shared his
success story and challenges faced during initial phase of set up. He spoke on Network
Building, Client Relationship and Developing Self-confidence. The session was followed
with the address of Mr. Sunil Khandbhale who explored upcoming Opportunities in IT
Sector for entrepreneurship. The technical session was covered by Mr. Sunil Chandak,
Director and President of Udyogwardhini, Nashik
The workshop covered aspects on:-
1. SME Project Selection.
2. Market Survey Techniques.
3. Project Report Preparation.

Day Two
The Second day of the workshop was initiated with the renowned motivational talk by
Mr.Hemant Patil on “Goal Setting”. He shared many success stories of entrepreneurs and
carried out desk activity. The session was carried out with desk activity for framing goal to
initiate and execute business idea. The next session was conducted by Mr. Amar Thakre,
who gave brief insight about “Make in India” project laid by government recently. He
demonstrated various upcoming Gadgets which were exhibited in “Start up India”
Competition. The resource person discussed on various modes for raising funds to start
business during initial stage.

Activity 4:
Title: Seminar on “Business Plan & Market Research” Date: 15th February 2016.
Overview:
One Day Seminar on “Business Plan & Market Research” was organized by Department
of Information Technology in association with EDC for Final year students. The event
commenced with Orientation Program of EDC by official declaration of Council Body among
EDC students and faculties by Mr.P.P.Galankar, Administrative Officer, SNJB (Jain
Gurukul). The winners of various Design Competition such as Logo Design, Template
design, Letter head and banner design were appreciated by the hands of invited delegates
and guest.
The first session was delivered by Prof. H.K.Padmanabhan on “How to Prepare Business
Plan”.
The seminar was intended to cover:-
1. What is Business Proposal?
2. How to Draft Business Plan?
3. Inclusion of Technical & Economical Feasibility.

The second session was delivered by Prof. U.S.Kasar, on “Market Research”.
The seminar was intended to cover:-
1. How to Identify Market?
2. Methods of Market Research.
3. Live case: Market Research.
The third session was conducted by Mrs. Premlata Mishra on “ Workshop for Women
Entrepreneurship”. This workshop was meant especially only for female students and
faculties of EDC.
The workshop was carried by:
1. Poster Presentation on Business Idea.
2. Demo Interview.
3. Open House Discussion : Challenges for Women Entrepreneur.

Activity 5:
Title: Bizz Stall Presentation” Date: 02nd March 2016
Overview:
The “Bizz Stall Presentation” was organized by Department of Electronics &
Telecommunication & MBA in association with EDC. The idea behind this event was to promote and
provide platform for those students who have inculcated their business ideas on paper by providing
valuable suggestion and guidance. This event was the primary process of selecting business ideas
from student.
Participants: 21 EDC Registered Students only.
Selection Process:
The selection committee was comprised of all EDC Staff Members along with Chairman.
Outcome:
1) At par most of the business ideas were selected by the jury members by giving their
valuable suggestion with the scope to make improvement in current presentation.
2) The technical advice was provided by respective domain area experts in terms of market
research, financial feasibility, competitor analysis, engineering analysis and government
schemes.
Scope:
This competition was the first screening process for inviting sponserors and funding
agencies to put forth the Business Proposal.

Activity 6:
Title: Workshop on “Fantastic – 5 Talk show & SBI Schemes” Date: 08th March 2016.
Overview:
One Day Workshop on “Fantastic Five and SBI Schemes” was organized by Department of
Electronics & Telecommunication in association with EDC for Final year students. This
workshop was put in action by bringing team of “Fantastic Five- Women Entrepreneur”
on the eve of celebrating “International Women’s Day”
The first session of the workshop was delivered by “Team of Fantastic Five”.
This workshop covered in the form of Talk Show:-
1. Different Avenues of Business.
2. Mode of Raising Funds.
3. Role of Various Govt. Bodies.
