This leaflet is intended forpatients prescribed Enstilar®
(calcipotriol/betamethasonedipropionate) cutaneous foam.
This leaflet does not replacethe Patient Information
Leaflet (PIL) provided withyour medicine which you
must read carefully.
Enstilar® contains calcipotriol and betamethasone dipropionate (50 micrograms/g + 0.5 mg/g) in a foam spray formulation.
• Enstilar® is a foam spray plaquepsoriasis treatment for adult patientsthat comes in a can
• Spray onto the affected area, as directedby your prescriber, once-daily for the 4week treatment period
• The normal treatment period is 4weeks but your doctor may decide on adifferent treatment period
YOUR PLAQUEPSORIASISTREATMENT
1. Remove the cap and shake the can fora few seconds before use. Wash anddry hands before application.
2. Apply the foam by holding the canat least 3 cm (just over 1 inch) fromthe skin and spray directly onto eachaffected area. Spray the foam byholding the can in any direction excepthorizontally (on its side).
3. Gently rub the foam spray into eachaffected skin area.
NOTE: Hands should be washedafter using Enstilar® (unless Enstilar®
is used to treat the hands) to avoidaccidentally spreading to other parts ofthe body.
• Always follow the guidance of your prescribingdoctor
• Do not use more than 15 grams per day
• One 60 g can should last for at least 4 days
• If you use other calcipotriol containing medicines,the total amount of calcipotriol medicines, includingEnstilar®, must not exceed 15 grams per day
• Caution: Extremely flammable aerosol. Protectfrom sunlight and do not store above 30°C. The canshould be discarded 6 months after first opening
• You must carefully read all of the Patient InformationLeaflet (PIL) that is provided with your medicine
