BORESCOPE INSPECTION REPORT

GENERAL INSPECTION REFERENCE AMM 72-00-00
Exterior Inspection LH fan cowl , starter duct & start valve, hydraulic lines and wire harness are all secure with no broken mounts. RH fan cowl, igniter boxes & leads, PMC and anti-ice ducts and oil tank are secure and no broken mounts. Accessory Drive Gearbox Starter, hydraulic pump, CSD, generator, angle gearbox, fuel pump and MEC are secure with no evidence of leaks. No damage to the plumbing or tubes. Compressor Cases No damage to the LP compressor bleed valves. No visible bent or broken HP variable stator vanes, no damage to the VSV actuators, customer service ducts have no cracks or evidence of leaking, no damage to the over board bleed valves, fuel nozzles and tubes have no evidence of leaking. Exhaust Cases HP & LP turbine cooling tubes have no dents, no evidence of leaks or cracked manifold lugs. Exhaust Cone has a many dents due to FOD.

LOW PRESSURE COMPRESSOR INSPECTION REF. AMM 72-00-00
38 LPC 1 FAN LE of the fan blades are smooth to the touch. No missing material or heavy rubs around the running seal. Acoustical panels were secure with no loose or missing fasteners. EXIT GUIDE VANES No discrepancies noted at this time.
68 LPC 2 BLADES No discrepancies noted at this time. 68 LPC 3 BLADES No discrepancies noted at this time. 68 LPC 4 BLADES No discrepancies noted at this time. SUGGESTED ACTION: None

DEFLECTORS Several deflectors have the edge burns – within AMM limit.
FUEL NOZZLES Some nozzles and sleeves have carbon
deposits – within AMM limit.
INNER & OUTER LINERS
- Several axial cracks across one panel on Outer and Inner Liners;
- Missing coating and lightly burn.
HPT NGV’s
- Missing coating. Some vanes have a Light burn on LE – within AMM limits.
- Several Vanes have axial cracks on TE in the braze joints of the airfoil-to-platform surfaces – within AMM limits.

72 HPT BLADES LE & TE Missing coating. Concave side radial tip cracks on several blades.
- Four blades have missing material 2/3 of their length – not permitted.
- Two blades have missing material full of their length – not
permitted.
- Two blades have missing material 1/3 of their length and
№1 Radial Cavity open – not permitted.
HPT SHROUDS Shows the signs of heavy burn.
SUGGESTED ACTION: UNSEVISEABLE. Engine must be shipped to Engine Shop for repair.
LOW PRESSURE TURBINE INSPECTION REF. AMM 72-00-00 . 174 LPT 1 BLADES and NGV’s Unserviceable visible damages on each of the airfoils due to FOD ( material gone from HPT blades) passed through the engine's LPT section.
162 LPT 2 BLADES and NGV’s Unserviceable visible damages on each of the airfoils due to FOD ( material gone from HPT blades) passed through the engine's LPT section. 157 LPT 3 BLADES and NGV’s Unserviceable visible damages on each of the airfoils due to FOD ( material gone from HPT blades) passed through the engine's LPT section.
160 LPT 4 BLADES and NGV’s Unserviceable visible damages on each of the airfoils due to FOD ( material gone from HPT blades) passed through the engine's LPT section.
