Tipos de tarifas en las Terminales
• Tarifas Contrato a Plazo – con relación a los contratos que se
extienden el curso de un periodo de tiempo designado (1-año, 3-años,
5-años, etc.)
• Tarifas en Mercado Termino – con relación a las transacciones
terminas, negociadas individualmente
• Tarifas en Mercado Termino de Reventa – con relación a las
transacciones entre titulares de contratos a plazo y un tercer partido

Cargos Cancelados del Golfo de México, EE.UU
• Cancelaciones en el Golfo de México ocurren cuando el cargador
determina que el pedido ordenado será innecesario o no deseado
• Anteriormente, las cancelaciones requerían una notificación de 30 días
a fin de evitar cargos adicionales por cancelación / sanciones
• A principios del 2016, las terminales marinas del Golfo de México,
comenzaron a permitir cancelaciones hasta el ultimo día del mes
anterior
• Las tarifas de cancelación varían de contrato a contrato, pero
generalmente son alrededor de 9 centavos/galón (en la mayoría de
casos)

Exportaciones de Etano de los EE.UU.
• Las exportaciones marítima de etano comenzaron en marzo del 2016
de la terminal Marcus Hook, Pensilvania
• Los volúmenes promedio per mes son de ~44,000mt
• Hasta el momento, el destino ha sido 100% hacia Europa (Rafnes,
Stenungsund y Grangemouth).
• En la costa del Golfo de México las exportaciones de etano
comenzaron en Septiembre del 2016 de la terminal Morgans Point,
Texas
• Las exportaciones de etano a gran escala se anticipan una vez que
los VLEC( Very Large Ethane Carriers) sean terminados y lazados
del astillero
• La flota de etano (eventualmente) consistirá de:
• 15 portadores de etano @ 27,500-36,000cbm
• 11 86-87,000cbm VLEC’s (en construcción)

Puntos Claves a Recordar
• Los volúmenes total de GLP marítimos siguieran aumentando y continuaran
creciendo mientras que la producción mundial mejora naturalmente
• Gran parte del aumento ha sido procedente de los EE.UU. – seguirá siendo
el caso
• Se estima que capacidad adicional marina de GLP será necesaria en los
EE.UU. ~2020
• Las tarifas en las terminales seguirán debajo de 10 centavos/galón ($52mt)
• Los valores del mercado en los EE.UU. en relación con Europa y el Este continuara siendo el factor determinante
• La salud y el crecimiento de las PDHs será importante
• Las tarifas de carga – considerando el Orderbook – se sostendrán
relativamente decaído
• El canal de Panamá será utilizado par aprovechar oportunidades rumbo al
Este.
