“The Corp” Students of Georgetown, Inc.
What is it?
The Corp is a 501(c)(3) non-profit corporation.
It is entirely student-run and operates independently from Georgetown University.
From the baristas in the coffee
shops to the company’s CEO, every Corp employee is a full-time
undergraduate student.
Even the 4 external directors of the Corp’s Board are students,
making the Corp unique among large, student-run corporations
across the country.

to the Georgetown community.
The Corp’s mission is.
Today, it brings in over $4 million in sales and
employs over 200 undergraduate
students.
The Corp has operated continuously since 1972.
History of the Corp
This is also unique.
In addition to operating convenience stores, coffee shops, catering, and a summer storage service, the Corp conducts all accounting, payroll, IT, and marketing functions internally.

“Corpies” are not necessarily business school students, but all acquire real-world
business skills through hands-on experience.
