Future role of CIMASin University academics
• Strengthen Postdoc programs, ideally by seeking funding that is not tied to externally funded research projects;
• Revive visiting scientist program for Fisheries, possibly through collaboration with the CSF;
• Increase participation in the NOAA EPP/MSI program;
• Plan mechanisms that will ensure that current collaborative opportunities do not get weakened by future changes in the RSMAS campus
