Mr. Paul Hutchings, International Business
Development of REINERT-RITZ GMBH told us
that project planning and design should aim at
guaranteeing the required service life for different
applications and their static and dynamic loads
and at ensuring identical stability of all structural
components of the pipeline system.
In Germany a total of 1,276 km of large-bore
pipes for drinking water use has been
installed in 2012, whereof 85%, that means
over 1,000 km made of PE.
In Central Europe low and medium pressure
rated PE pipe systems became well
established in the local gas distribution
sector. In this connection England plays a
leading role where PE transport pipelines
are used up to d 630 mm.
