Bible Quiz
The prophet Jeremiah believed that
God would make a new covenant withhis people (Jeremiah 31:31). The NewTestament book of Hebrews teachesthat the new covenant became a reali-ty in Christ (see Hebrews 9:15). Whatdoes Hebrews say the covenant con-sists of? Read Hebrews 10:16-17 andfill in the blanks.
"This is the covenant that I will makewith them ... says the Lord. I will putmy _____ in their hearts, and I willwrite them on their _____." Then headds: "Their ____and _____ ____ Iwill remember no more."
Using the Car
A young boy had just gotten his driving permit. He asked his father if they could discuss the useof the car. His father said, "I'll make a deal withyou. You bring your grades up, study your Bible, and get your hair cut and we'll talk about it."
After about a month the boy came back and againasked his father if they could discuss use of thecar. His father said, "Son, I've been real proud of you. You have brought your grades up, you'vestudied your Bible diligently, but you didn't getyour hair cut!"
The young man replied, "I've been thinking aboutthat. You know, Samson
had long hair, Moses had long hair, why even Je-sus had long hair ...."
To which his father replied, "Yes, and theyWALKED everywhere they went!"
