• Two-lane roadway section• No pedestrian or bicycle accommodations• Existing roadway safety issues• Substandard horizontal alignment

Proposed Improvements:
• 0.9 miles of two new travel lanes• One continuous 10-foot center turn lane from
H.G. Truman Road to Ann Marie Gardens Entrance• New curb and 5-foot sidewalk in both directions• Two new 4-foot bicycle lanes within the Roadway
Section• Proposed drainage improvements• Two new stormwater management facilities• Improved turning radii at all cross roads• Improved parking facilities at Grandmother’s Store

Current Project Status:
• Project design has been performed to 90% completion.
• Current construction plans have been submitted to permitting agencies for review. Project is currently awaiting comments and/or approval.
Calvert Soil Conservation District Chesapeake Bay Critical Area Commission
• Current Estimated Construction Cost : $4.4 Million, excluding right of way and utility costs.
