6. Hypermetropeswilladjusttonearvisionimmediately.Distancevisionwillimprovewithinthreetosevendays.
7. DonotoverrefracttheDispoAirMultiusinganautorefractor.
Troubleshooting
1. Ifthepatientisnotsatisfiedwithhis/hervision,thenadvisehim/hertodiscontinuewearingthecontactlensesuntilhis/hernextvisit,whenyoucanaddresstheproblem.However,askthepatienttowearthelensesforatleasttwohoursbeforereturningfortherecheckvisit.Thistypeoffollow-upisimportanttoensurethatthepatientdoesn’tjustgiveupanddecideprematurelyagainstwearingmultifocalcontactlenses.
2. Ifthepatientisusedtomonovision,firstlethim/heradapttobinocularvision,andthenfitwithDispoAirMultilenses.
3. Ifthepatientdoesnotsuccessfullyadapttothemultifocallenses,trytofithim/herwiththeimprovedmonovision(onelensDispoAirMultiandonelensDispoAirAsphericlens).
