Acronym for HANARO Safety Management And Reliability Trace
portal system (SMART BOARD)
Information system for the following users related with
HANARO;
Operation crew
O and M people
Users
Managers
Visitors
Provide structured or calculated data and information of to the
user based on the DB generated by the ANSIM system
HANARO Safety Management Portal System
12
The staff input data and get the report similar to hard copy due
to only computerization of existing activities and procedures.
No statistics
No trends
No meanings
Managers want to know some overall performance and progress
of activities in real time.
Unresolved processes
Trends of plant safety performance
Oversight functions for major routine works
It can contribute to enhance the safety culture by giving the
meaningful information in a structured way.
Smart board is a portal screen for staff in only Hanaro department.
The staff can get overall status of O&M people and plant

Digital HANARO Project
28
KAERI developed in-house safety information system
(ANSIM) to support activities for the operation of
nuclear facilities including HANARO RR.
The SMART Board, a portal system for HANARO safety
management, was developed to enhance performance,
safety and safety culture of HANARO.
The ANSIM system should be evolved more to meet a
digital Hanaro goals.
