What does your dream library look like? http://martavallelibrary.wordpress.com/2009/05/08/what-does-your-dream-library-look-like/
What to do
Click the Scripts Library Object
1. Rez and click the rezzer2. Select the New Scene button3. Edit your design (your build) and drag the Your Build Rezzing Script into it4. Type Record in local chat to record the position of your scene. 5. Right click and Take your scene
Combine Your Build in a New Scene
6. Drag your build into the Content tab of the New Scene7. Rename the New Scene box8. Take it into your inventory9. Drag it into the Holodeck Rezzer
Result
Holodeck Scripts Library folder in My Inventory
1. Rezzer turns and menu appears2. An invisible box rezzes (ctrl alt T)3. Your design’s Content tab has the Your Build Rezzing Script inside it4. Records your design’s location and displays it in the local chat5. Your scene is in My Inventory
Building the Rezzer Menu
6. This is the version of your design with the rez script in it7. Use a short name for the menu button8. Find it in My Inventory9. The Content tab has your new scene

Mayan Temple – Student Design
Two story Mayan Temple and Underworld renders from a Holodeck
Mayan Simulation Sequence
1. Approach hologram disc for use
2. Select simulation scene to rez
3. Receive instructions for getting started (using a sim kiosk) to include introduction of learning challenge
4. Receive first quest: visit cistern to learn about role of water conservation in Mayan society
5. Receive second quest: visit playing field to learn about role of organized competitive events in Mayan society
6. Receive third quest: visit temple to learn about role of mythology and astrology in Mayan society
7. Receive instructions to return to main kiosk to input final explanation/response to challenge question using what has been learned from the simulation

Student-Centric Learning
•Source of the “big” idea? (who is the champion? sponsor?) •Identify target audience•Identify simulation purpose, learning goals, and project goals•Create assessment•Identify best practices and subject-matter experts (SMEs)•Interview SMEs•Assess participant’s current access to technology and knowledge•Determine development effort•Define elements for the simulation, including game, pedagogy, and structural content, story, and level design•Prepare a design document, story bible, and storyboard•Play test (alpha-testing) and pilot test (beta-testing)
Simulation Creation and MilestonesSimulation Creation and Milestones
Maya Simulation WorkflowMock-up (structures)
1. Diagram layout: Main Tikal center
2. Determine structure details and textures
3. Determine structures for interactive/dynamic systems (text, voice, bots, etc.)
4. Determine transition plan to OpenSim/Unity3D platforms
1. Develop user sequence/ expected flow-of-events map
2. Collect and organize historical info/data and relate to sim design
3. Determine game design for user (clues/hints/scoring/rewards)
4. Design database to support sim game design
