I feel honored and proud to be working as a Head of Media Studies and Mass Communication Department
of IQRA National University. Initiating and starting a Media Studies and Mass Communication BS four
years program for the first time in Peshawar is another milestone and achievement for the University. You
are lucky if you get admission in this department because you have the opportunity to learn from the
Journalists, Anchors, Reporters, Field Professionals, Well experienced Instructors and Qualified teachers.
As I myself have worked as News Anchor/Reporter in PTV News, Geo-News and as a Producer in Capital

President and other VIP Personalities and having an honor of reading PTV’s 9PM Prime KHABARNAMA

and journalism. I feel it's important to familiarize students with practical work of Journalism, Broadcasting
and other Media activities along with the theoretical work.
The Department of Media Studies & Mass Communication of INU offers you to become an expert News
