1. Attached is a letter from DR. ALMA I. IRADER, President, Council of Deans and Heads in Home Economics and Livelihood Education of the Philippines (CODHHELEP, Inc.), inviting the field on the 2 n d
National Seminar Workshop of the Council of Deans and Heads in Home Economics and Livelihood Education of the Philippines (CODHHELEP, Inc.) to be held on October 20 - 22, 2016 at Iloilo Science and Technology University, Burgos St., La Paz, Iloilo City.
2. The expected participants are Home Economics, Technology and Livelihood Educators of the Philippines. The seminar workshop theme is "Upgrading Skills and Improving Lives Towards ASEAN Integration".
3. The School Heads of the concerned teachers who will participate in the training shall make the necessary arrangements on the affected classes left by these participating teachers.
4. For more details, refer to the attached communication.
5. This Memorandum also serves as Travel Order.

The T r a i n i n g and Seminar-Workshop aim to:
1. enhance the participants' teaching competencies on the development of Outcomes-Based Education Teaching Learning Plan;
2. develop their skills in Food Processing, Beauty Care and Health Care; and
3. provide t h e m w i t h a venue for the sharing of best practices in addressing issues and concerns of the discipline/profession.
The target participants are teachers, deans and department heads of Home Economics (HE), Technology and Livelihood Education (TLE), and Edukasyong Pantahanan at Pangkabuhayan (EPP) from both public and private elementary and secondary schools nationwide.
Participation of both public and private schools shall be subject to the no-disruption-of-classes policy st ipulated in DepEd Order No. 9, s. 2005 entit led Instituting Measures to Increase Engaged Time-on-Task and Ensuring Compliance Therewith.
