firstly, i wanted to say what an amazing amount of people that you managed to attract from far and wide – congratulations on that achievement!
Secondly, thank you for the incredible work that you deliver on, the professionalism of the team and the quality of the presentations. it has been an absolute pleasure to talk about the great work of control room staff, often unsung. there has been so much we have all learnt, my speciality in training and support to colleagues took a different turn when listening to some new sessions about training and Quality improvement – so for that, thank you.
We learn something new every day, over eenA2019, we all learnt so much more than that!

it is always such a pleasure for me to be here with the eenA community. most of all congratulations on not only another successful conference but for being a true global leader in public safety.
eenA and the team have found a winning formula and know how to put on a top notch event. the conference was well organised: very meaningful sessions, great collection of public safety officials and industry leaders, and a great balance of social time to network and time spent in the sessions. numbers are not the whole story but it speaks volumes that people keep coming back and more and more want to be at eenA each year.

WORKSHOP 1: How can Google help improve
public safety?
FOR PUBLIC AUTHORITIES ONLY
(Registrations are full)
Dialogue between emergency services and tech companies
is key to keeping citizens safe. In this workshop, emergency
services representatives will get the opportunity to discuss
with Google staff about the best ways to foster innovation in
public safety. Google will present some of their projects and
participants will be able to give their feedback to the

WORKSHOP 3: Drones in public safety –
hands-on training day
(Registrations are full)
DJI and EENA are organising a workshop and demo on use cases of Remotely Piloted Aircraft Systems (RPAS), also referred to as drones, in Public Safety. Drones have taken great leaps in Public Safety and have become a force multiplier for firefighting, search and rescue and law enforcement missions. This technology is providing mission critical situational
awareness, allowing incident commanders to make better and faster decisions, and thus, mitigating risks on the ground and helping save lives and properties. The indoor & outdoor sessions allow participants to learn about new technologies available and get a more in-depth look into surveying and mapping, such as accident reconstruction and disaster mapping.
Meeting point: 09.30, lobby of the Radisson Blu Latvija Conference & Spa Hotel
Return time: 16.15, depart venue to hotel
14.00 – 17.00
WORKSHOP 2: AML workshop: deployment and
operational use
(Registrations are full)
Over the last years, the value of Advanced Mobile Location
(AML) has become undeniable. With new European
legislation making AML mandatory in all Member States,
what practical lessons can be learnt from past deployments?
In this workshop, we’ll be exploring the challenges faced and
solutions found in the deployment of AML, with practical
recommendations and discussions focused on operational
use and implementation.
