The 2nd International Automotive Body Technology Conference
The conference was held to help automobile repair service providers from Japan and overseas to exchange information about their business, as automobile repair is becoming more difficult in recent years. Those from Itary, Japan, Korea, United Kingdom, United States took part to discuss the current situation, issues and prospects of auto body repair in their countries.

The 3rd Auto Repair Assessment Competition
The competition was held to give an opportunity to a wide range of stakeholders in the auto aftermarket industry to display auto repair service providers’ technique for advanced automobiles and enable visitors to have a firsthand look at equipment and systems with the aim of contributing to improving technical levels in the auto repair industry.
Competition procedure
1. Participating teams took a look at a damaged car (Toyota Aqua) for one hour each on the day before the competition.
2. The teams measured the car to identify locations of the damage and decide the scope of their repair.
3. The teams disclosed the process of deciding on their work details and timetable. They presented repair plans and cost estimates on the day of the competition.
4. Jury members asked questions and reviewed the presented documents to choose winner(s) of the award for excellence.
