The Visionaries and Pillars of the School Bestowed their Wishes to the Students
CHAIRMAN DIRECTOR
Occurrence of disaster is uncertain and we cannot stop
natural disasters but we can arm ourselves with knowledge: so
that many lives wouldn’t have to be lost if there was enough
disaster preparedness. To reduce this vulnerability particularly
for schools, it is important to have a school Disaster
Management Plan. The aim of emergency planning is to ensure
that the safety of the students and the staff is maintained
during an emergency and to make students learn the skills to
protect themselves and their surrounded environment from
such disaster. To achieve and fulfill this aim, the school
organized training of disaster management drill to make
students learn how to respond to the sound of the school
emergency alarm and to make them aware of fire safety and to
teach them how the fire extinguisher works. The demo session
was conducted by the fire fighters in the presence of school
teachers. The activity was very useful for the students to
understand the working of the fire extinguisher.

CM Appeal to Green Drive
“Living in harmony with nature is the need of the hour. It is the responsibility of every individual to see that the future generations too enjoy and co-exist in nature”, said respected Director Ma’am on the occasion of Green Drive. Honourable Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi & Chief Minister of Delhi Shri Arvind Kejriwal exhorted people to come forward to fulfill Mahatma Gandhi’s vision of Clean India. Dashmeshians manifested their active participation to accomplish this vision & mission of our leaders. The students in a special assembly took a pledge “Swachhata Shapath Day” to devote themselves towards cleanliness. “Van Mahotsav“ programme was also organized on 8th September, 2018 wherein dashmeshians planted various saplings in & around the school premises. The school appeals to make conscious effort for cleanliness in and around neighborhood as well as the necessity to plant more and more trees.

HAND WASH ACTIVITY
Hygiene awareness is key to healthy life. To make the Dashmeshians understand the need for handwash and its significance that it prevents the spread of infection, as suggested by the United State Center for Disease Control, the school organized an activity to execute our objective on 11TH September,2018. Videos were shown to children to teach them about the spread of germs by showing how germs can live on hands and the things they touch. An activity was also conducted in which children were made to wash their hands with an anti-bacterial soap for at least 15-20 seconds to indicate them that they should scrub off germs properly each time when they wash their hands.

Non
Recycled
The Environmental Policy majorly includes recycling as its part. This is mainly because of the increased costs of solid and hazardous waste disposal and the growing concern over polluted land. So, recycling is a major step of turning waste into new material or products.
Keeping in mind the same objective, we also conducted an activity in class V to make them aware about segregation of waste products. For this, blue and red dustbins were shown to them and a brief explanation about differentiation between recycled and non-recycled products was given. Students were quite curious to know more about their usage and participated more about their usage and participated enthusiastically in the activity.
Students understood very well that recycling is a necessary process to protect our prospect generations and people should wisely use the environmental friendly products.
