DARK NIGHTS AND CLASSIC DESIGN

May be it has something to do with the long cold dark nights that encourage Scandinavians to build such stylish homes with beautiful kitchens that encourages home cooking.

If you’re going to spend so much of the long winter in darkness for most if not all 24 hours a day, then the other aspect is lighting that is so important to get right to bring the room alive. Poor lighting in the kitchen is no help at all for the preparation of food and neither does it do justice to a good build kitchen.

For a new luxury kitchen design London it’s likely you will be looking at Scandinavian design and possibly Sola Kitchens.

This company is the vision asmart Swedish lady that spotted the demand for high end bespoke kitchens in London where property development is a burgeoning business.

There is no compromise at all on the mainly Danish built kitchens supplied and fitted by this firm and from beginning to end the attention to detail is one hundred per cent. If you want a glorious quality new kitchen then you won’t want to do it piecemeal.

One of the main reasons to have a new kitchen is when a wall to a little used adjoining dining room is knocked through with a view to a large kitchen diner. At this point the best course of action is to rip out all those old decaying units along with everything else to end up with a blank canvass.

Call in this company and they will visit and measure and create a highly accurate floor plan whilst discussing your preferences for the kitchen. Once some designs are produced through sophisticated software a picture of the final kitchen becomes clearer.

Once it’s looking like getting a green light from the customer the next step is to make sure there are enough strategically placed electric wall sockets for the new appliances and lighting is sorted where it’s needed.

It’s also very important at this moment to check the condition of the floor, walls and ceiling as this is an ideal time to redecorate thoroughly. These new units are seamless just like a professional kitchen and once fitted they’re going to be in place for many years to come so you don’t want any dampness in the walls or floor.

Scandinavian and in particular Danish and Swedish kitchens are meticulously thought through and have drawers and cupboards especially designed for certain modern utensils. The attention to finish and the use of natural materials like hard woods and granite along with steel helps create a kitchen any chef would be more than happy to work in.

The muted clean finish can be contrasted with some of your own brightly coloured additions like wall pictures and brightly coloured fabrics in the dining part of the room.

When you think of a new kitchen then think Danish and you will never be disappointed with a room that will quickly become the hub of the home.

Summary: Doc sharing articles on kitchen design and the suggestion that Scandinavian and in particular Sweden and Denmark make some of the finest kitchens available.
